Send meeting action items to GitHub Issues automatically

Notemaker turns meeting transcripts into action items with owners and deadlines and creates them in GitHub Issues, with status synced both ways.

What syncs

  • Opens a GitHub issue with a priority label, assignee and the due date in the body.
  • Closing or reopening the issue updates the task here, and the reverse.

How to set it up

  1. GitHub → Settings → Developer settings → OAuth Apps → New OAuth App. Authorization callback URL = the URL below.
  2. Connect, then pick the repository (owner/name) as the default project. Tasks become issues with a priority label, assignee and due date in the body; closing an issue completes the task and vice-versa. The repo webhook is registered automatically on a public URL.
