Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Notemaker, provided by Notemaker. By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of yourself and your organization.

The service

Notemaker extracts decisions and action items from meeting transcripts, syncs them to third-party tools and sends reminders. Features and limits depend on your plan (see Pricing).

Your responsibilities

• Keep your credentials and API keys secret; you are responsible for activity under your workspace.
• Recording: obtain all consents and notices required by law and by meeting platforms before recording or uploading any meeting. Do not use the bot on meetings where recording is prohibited.
• Do not misuse the service: no unlawful content, no attempts to breach security, no automated abuse beyond published API limits, no use to harass or surveil people.
• Comply with the terms of the third-party platforms you connect (Zoom, Google, Microsoft, Slack, etc.).

AI output

Extraction uses AI and can be wrong or incomplete. Review tasks before relying on them; owner and deadline are flagged when uncertain. You are responsible for decisions you make using the output.

Your data

You own your content. You grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the service. See the Privacy Policy for how data is handled, retained and deleted.

Plans, billing and cancellation

Paid plans are billed per user per month via Stripe or Razorpay and renew until cancelled. Cancel any time from Billing; access continues until the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change prices with 30 days' notice.

Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Notemaker is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
